Treatment
Most insect bites and stings diminish after a few hours or days and can be treated with over the counter medication from any pharmacy.
If the insect bite or sting becomes itchy, swollen and painful our clinicians can prescribe antibiotic treatment. It is important to attach pictures (non-intimate areas) if you choose the telephone consultation option. Pictures are not required for video consultations.
If you’ve been bitten by a mosquito recently and are experiencing symptoms such as a headache, fever, nausea, or vomiting, you should consult your regular doctor urgently.
